1. Regulatory notice
GESTINVEST PRIVATE CAPITAL SA, Rue de la Corraterie 5, 1204 Genève, Switzerland, operates under the GestInvest brand and provides private capital advisory services: mergers and acquisitions advisory, capital advisory, wealth & family solutions and investment advisory.
GestInvest's activity is advisory and introductory in nature. Investment transactions are executed through duly authorised entities chosen by the client, which provide custody and management of the relevant assets. Client funds remain at all times with those entities.
The information published on this site is provided for information purposes only and is institutional in nature. Any specific proposal is presented in dedicated documentation, addressed to identified recipients and within the rules applicable in each jurisdiction.
2. Independence and conflicts of interest
GestInvest acts independently and solely in the client's interest in each mandate. We identify, record and manage potential conflicts of interest before accepting each mandate and throughout its execution. Any relevant situation is disclosed to the client in writing, and the mandate proceeds only with the client's informed agreement. Where a conflict proves incompatible with protecting the client's interests, GestInvest declines or ends its involvement.
3. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is a core principle of our work. Information shared by clients and counterparties is handled with strict discretion, used solely for the purposes of the mandate and protected by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) signed before any sensitive information is exchanged. Access to information is limited to the people directly involved in each transaction.
4. Anti-money laundering
GestInvest applies appropriate due diligence procedures to clients and counterparties (KYC), including identification of beneficial owners, verification of the source of funds and screening against international sanctions lists. GestInvest reserves the right to decline or suspend any relationship where these checks prove insufficient, and cooperates with the competent authorities as required by law.
5. Anti-bribery and corruption
GestInvest applies a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of corruption, bribery and influence peddling. Gifts, hospitality and payments to third parties follow criteria of reasonableness and transparency and are always consistent with applicable law and the policies of counterparties.
6. Transparent remuneration
GestInvest's remuneration is agreed in writing for each mandate, before work begins, with a clear statement of fees, commissions and their conditions. Any remuneration received from third parties in connection with a mandate is disclosed to the client in advance.
7. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Reporting channel
Anyone may confidentially report a concern regarding conduct, conflicts of interest, corruption or money laundering by email to contact@gestinvest.pt, with "Compliance" in the subject line. Each report is reviewed in confidence, and anyone reporting in good faith is protected against any form of retaliation.
